Night Trains Are Over-Romanticized

An era in my life that every time I look back at it will make me say, "Did I really do that? How the fuck did I manage to go through THAT?"

The travelling, the classes, the people, the studying done in hospital wards. And I had Natalie Imbruglia played on the discman. How did I get through those things?

I have no idea who these people are and where they are now. I don't think I knew them back then anyway. Except for 2 little birds somewhere in the picture. :P

Little MP3 Players were so cool.

The 7 months' period went by quick, the first 6 weeks of it was even quicker. What a rush it was. Kinda met new kinds of people and friends that was weird to me at that point in time. Now some of them are my best buddies.

But that was the first time that I knew that I had found someone who was a keeper. That was the first time that I found someone that I can look at and wonder little, for we were almost the same. And the rest of the team, they just didn't really exist.

Wish I knew where you are now. We have a lot of updating to do.

1st Digital Camera

I got this for free back in 2002/2003 off a credit card application. Quality wasn't much of an issue for me back then. I was just amused at the fact that I didn't have to buy films to take pictures anymore. It had a modest offering of internal memory (can't remember the size). The AAA battery must be inside at all time so that you would not lose any data. There's no display screen at the back for you to preview the pictures you took, but there is this small screen to display battery life and number of pictures taken.

The Last Geng Bas Sekolah

I watched The Last Airbender last weekend. *vomit*
Great CGI, great cinematography. That's it. The worst to come from M. Night Shyamalan. Period, Why he would want to venture into this one really puzzles me.

I mean, the script, it could passed for another Malaysian kid show on a kid channel. I know this is based on a cartoon but seriously?

Try and watch the scene where the Earth benders are detained. Now try to make sense of what was happening.

They probably spent a gajillion bucks on the CGI. I wished they made it 100% CGI. The actors are shit anyway.

This guy is not real right? It's CGI right? Right?

of gps and open houses

I slept thru the 2nd half of saturday last weekend. that means i slept thru a very important open house held in ampang. still haven't forgiven myself for that.

sunday came, and they have this jamuan perdana nearby. organized by the persatuan penduduk. we came late and didn't get to taste the roasted lamb i saw earler. all we had was some lame leftovers.


later at 3.30, i went to Johana's place in tmn lestari perdana or sumthing in sri kembangan. i got lost as expected. again, words of wisdom from friends came playing in my mind, about how i should get myself a gps system. it would be great to have one. never having to check out google map and memorizing the layout of the land before going anywhere. but the cost of having one, well, i think i better stick to repeatedly calling some people on how to get anywhere and i think i can afford a few good pieces of furniture instead of having that gps.

Ok so i tried that tumblr blog and it is too confusing and i ended up back here. i can't even find that blog i did a few days back. wtf.
